Citibike Design Update

To meet growing demand and improve the fleet of rental bikes used in the CitiBike program found in New York City, Chicago and many other large metro areas, I was brought in to work with world-class bike designer Ben Serotta. After analyzing maintenance records and speaking with technicians, together we redesigned the entire bike from the ground up. We focused on utilizing higher-quality parts to better cope with the unique environmental demands and increase durability, reduce time to repair and generally improve the user experience. The final design was purposely done to look very similar to the original but every square inch is new.
