Rael Concept Bike

For no other reason than I wanted to showcase my ideas, I designed the Rael concept road bike in 2010 with features that are becoming increasingly common in the marketplace and stretches the envelope with unique brake/shift levers, large diameter bottom-bracket that utilizes needle bearings to spread load and a novel approach to adjusting handlebar reach and height. According to BicycleDesign.net, the Rael was second only to the Specialized McLaren in popularity in 2012 and has been featured on Gizmodo and Wired.
